Yesterday I had the most wonderful chat with such a wise Soul
Nine years young
Their wisdom brought me so much joy, hope and connection
Today having walked my dog, noticing so many links to the red ray, our root chakra, I spent some time reconnecting to that same wise energy
Through my own inner child
So very similar, it took another Soul, one I had potentially had the honour of being present at their birth, to remind me of myself
Noting the daily need to mediate in this energy to hold space for the endurances I had seen as a child, I shuffled the Tarot for todays collective guidance
Selecting randomly from behind the Seven of Pentacles as I heard the song “this little light of mine” I tuned into the unknown image in my hands
Overwhelmed with emotion, sudden extreme pain in my heart for children everywhere I heard “plant the seeds for them in all you do let them be your growth”
Blowing into the card, as I would a kintu leaf, praying for my ancestors to come, as guided I placed the image on my own chest
Here I heard “ you are their future”
The car was the Three of Swords underneath which sat the Six of Cups
Today recognise any pain within your own up-bringing as an opportunity to grow
For others, the future, and then ultimately yourself
May we remember our role as the guardians of the next generation and carry this forward in all we create
