This morning, journeying with the Seven of Wands, I have been acutely aware of defensive behaviour.

My husband no longer willing to be disturbed by my constantly calling cat, not knowing what she wants.

Horses spooked outside my gate by my neighbours barking protective dogs

Birds fighting amongst themselves to retrieve food and shelter

All the while, the Sun shines, gloriously.

Forver in the background, lighting, providing, transforming.

Shuffling the Tarot, sat in the garden watching a bumblebee, feed from the beauty of growing flowers, hearing ” move around to get what you need” I randonly selected from behind The Sun.

Tuning into the unknown image in my prayer shaped hands I heard the above song

Nothing else

No message beyond the lyrics of “pray”

The card was The Seven of Swords

Today release any defenses you may have towards the light you seek, be it home, desires or connection.

May we all remember we are children of the Sun, a truth we only need open the door to within, from here may all prayers be answered.
